A Rosary from Rome

Sixth-class student Ruth wrote to Pope Francis to praise the 95-year-old school chaplain Fr Harty, and was amazed last week to receive a letter from the Vatican, saying the Pope wanted to thank her, and that he appreciated the sentiments expressed about Fr Harty. The letter, accompanied by a set of Rosary beads blessed by the Pope and meant for Fr Harty, said the Pontiff would remember Fr Harty, Ruth, and the school in his prayers.
