Christian churches should consider a ‘Day of Atonement’

Dear Editor, It amazes me that RTÉ has become a propaganda organ for the pro-choice lobby. For instance, on The Late Late Show (October 15, 2016), we had a Government minister telling the nation that he is in favour of abortion and euthanasia. I hope that nobody is fooled by this type of constant ‘liberal’ propaganda that killing is okay. It is not okay. It is a crime and a government minister should know that. It is time to stop ‘the killing machine.’

I propose that all our Christian churches should set aside a ‘Day of Atonement’ for the millions of babies murdered by abortion.

We need to raise awareness of this most horrific crime since it is likely that the commission set up by the Government to look into the issue will recommend the repeal of the Eighth Amendment.

The commission does not represent the voice of Christian Ireland, nor indeed the voice of Jews and Muslims. Over 90% of Irish people are Christian, at least in name, but all we hear and see in the media is support for abortion and secular propaganda.

Yours etc.,

James Bourke,
