Volunteers who will be speaking about their Faith to the national media during the World Meeting of Families had their first training day on Sunday, July 8, in Dublin.

The primary theme of the training day was ‘How to Defend the Faith without Raising Your Voice’, based off the recently published book of the same title written by Michael Kelly and Austen Ivereigh.

Catholic Comment which is part of the Catholic Voices global movement had been looking for media speakers to help throw light on the message of Christ and the Church before and during the Pope’s visit this August.

The organisation wanted Catholics aged 18 and over with a genuine enthusiasm for and commitment to the Catholic faith in all its aspects and who should be willing to share the Catholic worldview in an open, confident and friendly way.
