A Dublin conference will next month look at the lasting legacy of the encyclical Humanae Vitae. Promulgated by Blessed Pope Paul VI 50 years ago, the document continues to be hotly discussed within the Church.
The conference – ‘Love and Life in Marriage’ – will celebrate the Church’s vision for sexuality and marriage with particular reference to the document.
Hosted by the Nazareth Family Institute at the Carlton Hotel at Dublin Airport on Saturday August 4 from 2pm-6pm, speakers will include Dr William Newton from the Franciscan University of Steubenville, Dr Marie Meaney from Vienna and Dr Maria Fedoryka from Ave Maria University in the US.
No prior registration is required and there is no entry fee, though organisers would appreciate a donation. See www.loveandlife2018.com
