Dublin archdiocese is preparing to host the third annual Ecumenical Bible Week, a week-long celebration of parish-based events around Dublin and surrounding areas focused on Scripture.
This year’s theme is Christian attitudes to the crisis of the environment and global warming and it will feature debate, talks and music in 45 free events, across 13 locations in Dublin, Kildare and Wicklow, with over 40 presenters.
The week will be launched in Dundrum Methodist Church on Sunday, May 15 at 3pm and closes with a musical celebration in St Paul’s, Arran Quay on Sunday, May 22 at 7.30pm.
Presenters include Archbishop Diarmuid Martin, CofI Archbishop Michael Jackson, Bro. Richard Hendricks OFM, Dr Kieran O’Mahoney OSA, Cora O’Farrell, Prof. William Reville, Fr Dermot Lane and Fr Sean McDonagh SSC.
