Faith schools tend to perform better

Dear Editor, I noticed recently that the best results in the UK’s GCSE or whatever it is called now were achieved in Northern Ireland.

I suspect that the majority of schools in the North are what might be called ‘faith’ schools. That in turn suggests that, regardless of the practice of faith of any kind, a ‘faith’ school is in fact the best place to send your child if you want her or him to do well materially. I just thought I’d mention it.

As to the ethics programme that Labour proposes to set up, they need to be careful how this is framed bearing in mind that the science of eugenics was eagerly promoted in the last century by the Nazis in their attempts to create the Ubermensch in the womb as well as obliterate the Untermensch, being typically Jews, Slavs and Roma, outside it! Again, I just thought I’d mention it.

Yours etc.,
