DUBLIN YOUTH DEPART FOR WORLD YOUTH DAY IN POLAND.
Today (25.7.16) 300 young people from throughout the Archdiocese of Dublin will join 1600 Irish pilgrims travelling to Krakow in Poland for the largest global gathering of young Catholics at World Youth Day 2016. Pope Francis is travelling to Poland to attend World Youth Day which is expected to attract Two million pilgrims. Despite it's name it's a week long event with hundreds of different aspects involving prayer, reflection, gathering and entertainment. The high point will be an open air mass next Sunday celebrated by Pope Francis. Before departing for Poland the Dublin pilgrims were joined by Archbishop Diarmuid Martin for a prayer service at the Dublin Airport Chapel.
