The actor Kelsey Grammer has spoken out strongly against abortion.
Openly pro-life, the star, best known for his role as comical psychiatrist Frasier spoke during an interview with The Times newspaper of his sense of anger at the language employed to justify abortion.
“It gets a bit dishonest to call something reproductive rights when you clearly have a choice well before a baby is conceived,” he said.
“Little makes me angry, but injustice does,” he said.
Grammer has spoken publicly in the past of the importance of faith in his life and how, despite tragedies, including the violent deaths of his father and sister in separate incidents, which seriously challenged his belief, he held to his faith.
Among the roles he has taken away from the Frasier series, Grammer most recently played King Herod in a mini-series on the life of Jesus.
