In this book aimed at a general readership, Australian Ian Acheson has cleverly adapted to his evangelical outlook the tropes of the modern thriller to provide a sort of Christian version of that popular genre, largely for a US audience. The plot revolves around the machinations of a corrupt European businessman (but of course) to cause explosions to undermine the G8 for his own satanic purposes. Fun reading for summertime perhaps, but the underlying political message should not be swallowed whole.
