Dear Editor, I very much enjoy The Irish Catholic newspaper and have been a subscriber for many years. However, I must take issue with certain articles appearing recently.
I do not particularly wish to read about the likes of members of the Association of Catholic Priests and do not regard them as Catholic priests – they do not further the teaching of the Catholic Church.
They continually complain about being ‘silenced’ by Rome. This is untrue; they have been censured, hardly surprisingly, for spreading their false views and propaganda.
Most, I fear, like being on the ‘telly’ and being in the media/public eye.
Yours etc.,
