iCatholic goes live from Rome Synod

iCatholic will be livestreaming a special panel discussion on the Synod on the Family from Rome

iCatholic has announced that it will be livestreaming a special panel discussion on the Synod on the Family from Rome on Thursday 16 October at 7pm (Irish time).

The panel will include Michael Kelly (The Irish Catholic), Emer McCarthy (Vatican Radio), Inés San Martín (Crux Vatican correspondent) and Austen Ivereigh (Catholic Voices and Papal biographer) and will be chaired by Wendy Grace.

Speaking to The Irish Catholic, Fr Bill Kemmy, the founder of iCatholic, said he was very excited to do the first livestream from Rome. We have timed our visit to coincide with the synod but we are also there to do recordings on a vocations series that we are producing.

“We are delighted to have such an expert panel. Our aim is to bring the synod alive for people at home and to go beyond the snippets that people are getting in the mainstream news.”

To follow the discussion, people need to log on to www.iCatholic.ie where they will find the livestream and details of how they can send in their questions and comments.

Fr Kemmy added: “We are really appealing to people for their support and to take the time to dip into our live stream.”
