Mags GarganOver the weekend the Diocese of Kerry launched a diocesan recruitment drive for young people aged 18–35 years to participate in World Youth Day next year.
The international youth event will take place in in Krakow, Poland from July 25 to August 1 and the theme is ‘Blessed are the merciful, for they shall obtain mercy’ (Mt 5:7).
The programme includes several days of celebration with Pope Francis, liturgies, concerts and workshops. The event culminates in an all-night vigil and Mass with Pope Francis.
The Diocese of Kerry will travel to Krakow on Monday, July 25 and return on Monday, August 1. While in Krakow they will stay at the Jagiellonian University in Krakow.
