A Co. Kildare woman has been appointed to head up the Society of Missionary Children, one of the oldest children’s charities in Ireland.
Missionary Children is governed by World Missions Ireland which supports missionaries and mission projects in up to 80 countries throughout the world.
Julieann Moran, from Newbridge, has been appointed to the post of National Secretary of Missionary Children which encourages a spirit of sharing, caring and praying for children in the developing world.
She said she was “thrilled to secure this position” and was “looking forward to working with children and the schools who actively and generously support Missionary Children”.
