Sabina Coyne Higgins, long-time friend of Ms Kenny and wife of the President of Ireland Michael D. Higgins, launched the book in the United Arts Club, Dublin on Wednesday September 14.
Published by Columba Books, The Way We Were traces the development of Catholicism in Ireland from 1922 to the present day.
