New CEO appointed to lay missionary group

Dr Vincent Kenny will step down as its chief executive of VMM on September 30

After 16 successful years leading the international mission development organisation VMM (Volunteer Mission Movement), Dr Vincent Kenny will step down as its chief executive on September 30, to be replaced by John Denny.

The chairman of VMM, Pablo Guidi, said that, under his leadership, Dr Kenny successfully brought VMM through challenging and changing times for NGOs in Britain and Ireland.

“We are confident that his managerial legacy will facilitate a smooth changeover to the incoming CEO and that VMM will continue to assist, in the years ahead, those who are marginalised and poor at home and abroad,” he said.
