Columbine principal to speak in Dublin

Frank DeAngelis, the principal of Columbine High School whose faith helped him to recover from the trauma of the 1999 shooting which claimed 15 lives will be the guest speaker at the Mansion House this September 14 to discuss the lessons learned from the tragedy in terms of young people and mental health. 

Hosted by Jigsaw, the National Centre for Youth Mental Health, the event takes place from 6.30pm to 8.30pm (registration from 5.30pm onwards). Tickets cost €25, with all monies raised going towards the work of Jigsaw. For more information and to book, visit jigsaw.ie/lessonslearned

 

The Writings of Martin Luther

The Methodist Church in Abbey Street, Dublin 1 will be the venue for A Reflection on the Writings of Martin Luther at 2pm on October 1. Hosted by the Ecumenical Society of the Blessed Virgin Mary (ESBVM), the presentation will be delivered by Dr Mary McCaughey of the Priory Institute.
