Incidents are being treated as hate crimes
Parishioners have volunteered to clean up two Catholic churches in Co. Antrim that were attacked by sectarian vandals last week.
St Peter’s Church on Rock Road, Stoneyford and St Joseph’s Church in Kilcorig Road in Glenavy were attacked during the early hours of Saturday morning with sectarian slogans such as "Kill All Taigs" daubed on doors, windows and walls. Parishioners volunteered to give their time to clean up the damage from the graffiti smeared on both churches before Sunday Mass.
Police have said the three attacks are linked and are being treated as hate crimes.
