Parish walk in solidarity with persecuted

St Aidan’s parish in Enniscorthy, Co. Wexford is holding a parish walk in solidarity with all persecuted Christians. Organisers are asking participants to wear orange, in reference to the orange jumpsuits worn by victims of beheadings, as “a small but important sign that we stand with those who suffer for their faith and walk with them through the valley of darkness”.

Joined by members of St Senan’s parish, the walk will take place on Sunday, August 30 at 3pm gathering at the church grounds and progressing around the town to Summerhill and back.
