Participants invited to Cork Eucharistic Procession

Cork’s annual Eucharistic Procession, now in its 90th year, will take place on June 7.

Participants will start assembling in the grounds of the North Cathedral at 2.30pm to leave at 3pm and process to Daunt’s Square.

An invitation has been offered to the various Catholic groups to walk in the procession.

The rosary will be recited by Msgr Gearóid Dullea.

Hymns and sacred music will be performed by the Choir of Our Lady Crowned, Upper Mayfield. Archbishop Kieran O’Reilly of Cashel and Emly will be guest preacher.

A special area will be reserved for the sick and disabled near the altar in Daunt’s Square where they will be blessed by Bishop John Buckley.
