‘Rally for Life’ set for July 1-4

With just weeks to go, organisers of this year’s ‘Rally for Life’ have revealed details of the weekend plan including a free screening of the movie Voiceless.

This year the event will take place from July 1-4, and while the normal large gathering in Dublin will not take place due to Covid-19 restrictions a number of other events will be held across the country.

On Saturday July 3, local pro-life rallies will be held in locations around Ireland both North and South.

‘Rally for Life’ spokeswoman Niamh Uí Bhriain said: “The theme for this year is ‘Rethink Abortion’, with a focus on the shocking revelations of late-term abortions happening in Ireland and the horrifying abortion figures, with 6,666 innocent babies taken by abortion in 2019 alone – we were told this would not happen, but we were all deceived.

“This year, we want to expose the reality of abortion in Ireland, and continue more than ever to spread the pro-life message so we can restore the dignity of the unborn child,” Ms Uí Bhriain said.
Other events will include on Thursday July 1, a free exclusive screening of the film Voiceless while the following day the ‘Vigil for Life’ will be livestreamed from St Mary’s Dominican Church in Cork at 7.30pm in unison with similar vigils in other parts of the country.

Local rallies will take place across the country, and the Life Institute is asking anyone who would like to organise a local rally to get in touch by emailing info@thelifeinstitute.ie
