Dear Editor, Thank goodness the census is now over and hopefully I will no longer have to be exposed to the nonsense about whether or not to tick the box for religion on the form. Is that really the most important thing the media can find to discuss at a time of unprecedented homelessness in Ireland, a global refugee crisis, terrible genocides committed by ISIS and devastating natural disasters.
I think it is fair to say that most people understood how to answer a simple question on whether they have a religion or not. It is hardly the stuff of cutting edge current affairs.
