The management of SVP must consider resigning

Dear Editor, Is it believable that the St Vincent de Paul donor funds to support a gay centre is directing scarce resources to the most needy and deserving cases?

For a Catholic charity to support an organisation that is promoting gay marriage, which the Church is opposing, is unacceptable.

The only answers to restore the trust of donors in the SVP is for the National Management Council to resign and for the SVP to immediately publish new exact guidelines as to how monies will be spent in the future, in accordance with donor wishes.

Yours etc.,

Sean Ruane,

Harold’s Cross,
