Courtney McGrailDear Editor, I am thankful to Archbishop Martin and the clergy who endeavoured to guide and instruct us in the run up to the referenda.
Unfortunately the result in the marriage referendum wasn’t what many of us would have liked. We must now go forward in hope and trust and pray for our beloved country, and its people, and in particular for the Irish as yet unborn.
May 22 has defined the society that they will be born into and live in.
Let us never forget that God in his wisdom gave us the gift of free will to forge out our own destiny. “As you sow, so shall you reap.”
