Year of Mercy is an opportunity for revival

Dear Editor, In recent years Ireland has gone through a lot of changes, sadly we seem to be losing our Christian faith to some degree and this may well continue. Pope Francis has called a special holy year dedicated to the Divine Mercy from the end of 2015 to the end of 2016 and there are, thank God, still a lot of good faithful people. I feel this will be a great opportunity for these people to pray to the Divine Mercy and to promote it among people in general by their positive action and example, and thereby help the people regain their Christian heritage and to encourage them to pass it on to future generations so that Ireland will become a better place.
